overall very pleasant experience. Will list some things we feel could make it even better. TV does not receive local channels causing us to miss game 1 of the World Series ( A big deal when you're from Missouri. ) Electricity went out for a couple of hours. Could have used bigger candles. When I called the electric company, which was after hours, their automated system did not have the phone number listed in their system. Could not get ahold of anyone. Had no water or electricity and was dark and stormy. The flooring should be replaced in kitchen and bathroom. Thermostat on hot tub is not accurate. Again overall it was a very pleasant experience. From the description online, we thought it would be a little more private, Neighbors very close. Hidden by woods but just a few feet away

We booked this ridge top gem for our family of four. From the time we pulled up until the time we pulled away, this was a first-rate experience. The cabin itself was beautiful, but the view was one of the best I've seen from a cabin in the Smokies. The cabin had enough room for us to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other, and the kids (9 and 3) could each have a little TV time without having to share sets. The living room and dining room area had a wall of windows to look out onto the lovely scenery. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we cooked all of our dinners there. Our oldest child enjoyed the hot tub, but it was a little too warm outside for my husband and I to enjoy it. One of my favorite parts of the day was having a cup of coffee out on the deck in the mornings. The only major time we spent away was a morning on a boat rental taking in Lake Hiwassee, which was surrounded by mountains and beautiful as well.
The owner, Ray, was very helpful during the booking experience. Any questions we had were addressed easily and promptly. He sent us a groupon link for rafting, in case we were interested, and he has a binder full of things to see and do around the area. We loved our stay, and can't wait to go back!
Noah’s Lark Mountain Cottage
Perched on the western slope of Bear Mountain our cottage, Noah’s Lark, provides stunning year 'round views of the Appalachian Mountains and the Cherokee National Forest. In the valley below are a few family farms with green pastures for horses...
Our stay was great! The cottage is just like the pictures and the video the owner can send you the link for. We drove and saw the fall colors on the 50 mile skyway drive in Tennessee and North Carolina. We enjoyed the view and the quietness of the area.
