Villa Giselle on the French side of St. Martin
|Per night||$840 - $2,071|
|Per week||$5,900 - $14,500|
1. Four king bed/bath suites all the same size and all with the same 180 degree Caribbean view (no one has to compete for the best room; they are all great) and there is a fifth queen bedroom.
2. A heated pool and hot tub which is rare in the French Caribbean but oh, so nice.
Villa Giselle overlooks Plum Bay Beach; four houses up from the beach which is only a 3 minute walk. And there are 37 other beaches on this 21 mile long island. The furnishings are outstanding and with the architecture even the inside rooms feel like they are outside. There is a large lounge outside as well as a sheltered dining room and the full America kitchen opens up wonderfully.
Villa Giselle has a 40 foot infinity pool; both the pool and the pool deck are very private.
St. Martin is known as the friendly island. There are over 15 wide body jets daily from America; at least 6 jets a week from Europe. St. Martin has won the coveted top culinary award for the entire Caribbean an unprecedented 5 times; there are over 300 gourmet restaurants. If you enjoy eating, this is the island...either eating out or eating at home; there is great food and great European wine at good prices.
The villa is well decorated, very clean; we have a great maid who comes 5 days a week.
Over half of our guests repeat often every year; you may become one of them.
When four couples share the villa the price ranges from a little over $200 a night to a little over $300 a night for each couple. 9 months of the year we also offer 2 and 3 bedroom rates.
If you will call or e mail us we can make some creative suggestions on how to save on your airfare. We do not maintain an active calendar on all websites so check to see if the time you might want is available.
Villa Giselle is located on the French side yet only 12 minutes from the airport on the Dutch side; everything is very close. We are in Terres Basses, the largest gated community in the Caribbean.
Imagine starting your day with freshly baked French pastries like croissants, picnicking on a European style beach and enjoying a great meal at a great price in the evening and finishing off the day in the hot tub watching the cruise ships float by on the Caribbean.
The island is also known for some of the finest duty free shopping in the Caribbean.

Here is an email we received from a recent guest at Villa Giselle:
We all had an amazing, wonderful, fabulous week! Your home is unbelievable! Words cannot do justice to describe our week. The island is loaded with delicious food, friendly people, gorgeous scenery and lots of sun, sun, sun!
We had French pastries daily at breakfast. Great lunches either around the pool or, if we were out we found some of the tastiest hamburgers and grilled chicken. Dinners were to die for. I don't believe there is a bad restaurant on the island. Our favorite was Turtle Pier. (Take a right out of the airport and it is just a few seconds down the street on the left.) We went there twice!
Agatha (the care taker) is just lovely, and we took her home every time we were at the house in the afternoon. She really does a wonderful job, and having her come every day was delightful.
We rented a boat one day and went to Creole Island and did some snorkeling. Then took a ride around the island on the boat to see it from the water. The captain brought cheese, french bread, drinks (alcohol and non) for us.
We spent half a day on the beach in Phillipsburg. We were served lunch by our private waiter/server. He ran back and forth from our chairs on the beach, brought menus and waited on us hand and foot! Then, the ladies sent the men back home and finished the day shopping on Front Street!
Back at the house, what a breathtaking view! Every evening the most beautiful sunsets any of us have ever seen. We took so many pictures. We'll have to share them with you.
If anyone ever has any questions about your home, or the island and what it has to offer, we would be happy to share. We knew we were in for a great week but our time there far exceeded our expections. We all have said it was one of the best weeks we have ever had! Thank you so much for your generousity and you willingness to help us out in our planning. We definitely plan to return! But now, there is laundry to do etc., back to the real world! I will give you a call to share more with you.
