Description of the Tucson vacation villa rental
On the north side of Tucson, this 1200 square foot villa commands a stunning view of the Catalinas high above the city center. Nestled in a prestigious guard-gated community the villa sits among large saguaro cacti and high desert vegetation.

While the villa is within a community there there is a large patio surrounded by flowering desert bushes. The interior, with comfortable south west decor is designed to provide comfort and a sense of space. The master suite with a king size bed contains its own private bath and walk-in closet. The other bedroom has twin beds.

The villa comes with 3 flat screens with 200 Direct TV channels, FREE Internet High Speed WIFI, FREE Long Distance within the 48 states and to Canada & Puerto Rico, and central Air Conditioning to pamper you a bit. The kitchen is complete with fine cooking ware so you can entertain with pride. Laundry facilities are included within the villa.

You'll get to know your neighbors when you sun bath around the pool. You will be able to use the heated pool, hot tub, and work out rooms in the clubhouse daily. They are located about 200 feet from the villa. We enjoy repeat guests who come annually who want to join the community as part of their stay.

Area Info
The north side of the City of Tucson is roughly defined by a dry riverbed or Arroyo. The other side of this Arroyo is Pima County, in which over half the population of the greater metropolitan region lives. We are in this area, nested against the high mountains (~8,000 feet) which dominate the north horizon of the City. This mountain range, the Catalinas, is a marvellous forest reserve protecting hundreds of thousands of majestic Saguaro Cacti.

The high desert around Tucson is alive with animal and plant life and you will be amazed at the lushness of the cacti, trees and bushes and variety of animals that you will see every day at the Villa and the Rancho Sin Vacas (Ranch Without Cows) area no matter what month.

October to May are 'snow bird' months, for people escaping the harshness of winter. April-June are the months that the desert is transformed by flowering plants. July-September mark the Monsoon Season when plants and animals gain relief from the heavy rainfall. My wife and I wait for the rain to come and join people who stand outside with arms reaching upward enjoying the wetness and cool air. On a browser, search for 'tucson's five seasons' to read more.
