Area Info
Standing at the street in front of the house, shaded by ancient live oaks, you can turn one way and look toward the brand-new Humiston Beach park, 2 blocks away, or turn the other to see, 3 doors away, the Riverside Park and its Equity performance Riverside Theater featuring off-Broadway plays and musicals, world-renowned speakers, concerts and comedy nights. The park also is the home of the VB Art Museum, the tennis complex, jogging and exercise trail and playground under the oaks, kayaking and boat rentals on the river, Memorial Island, and the fun, quirky Riverside Cafe for sunset drinks and Sunday brunch - all within a block or two stroll of your luxury vacation home!
Vero Beach is known as the "Hamptons" of Florida, with many grand restaurants and resorts, like Gloria Estafan's place just down the street, serving the discriminating gourmets, yet just as many family places where kids and grandparents can ride walk to to grab ice cream or a hamburger on the way home from the beach. There are plenty of elegant designer boutiques and retail shops two blocks away in the beachside/tourist area, and a large mall and a designer outlet center are within a 20 minute drive for shopping and gift bargains.
Our neighborhood is made up of many retirees, with a handful of families. Vero Beach welcomes our seasonal residents!

Sea Star Palace was wonderful

September 14, 2014

We stayed at the Sea Star Palace at Palm Coast Florida and had a great time. It was a wonderfully relaxing getaway from the stress of the northeast. We were a large group comprised of two families, one from NJ (6 people) and the other from Germany (6 people). Additionally, a nephew of mine, who was driving to Tampa to start a new job, stopped by and stayed overnight on a couch. Happily, the Sea Star Palace was the perfect place. What a wonderful house. The word "palace" certainly applies! Spacious and full of bedrooms and bathrooms, our large group fit in well. The beach was close by and the two community pools were great. But our favorite feature of all is the small private pool off the back of the house, in a screened in porch, overlooking the lake. During our week, we visited St Augustine and strolled the St George Street district which was a lot of fun; we shopped at nearby outlets; we took in Daytona Beach; we went to the alligator farm on A1A; and on our final day, we visited the Kennedy Space Center which was unexpectedly great. Regarding the Palm Coast environment, the scenery was beautiful. We drove along A1A from Daytona north and enjoyed the ocean views. If you like birds, this is a bird watcher's delight. For the kids, there were lizards, turtles, and snakes too. Overall, a great vacation and one that we are already recommending to our friends. We hope to vacation in this area again someday.

A lovely and spacious home

April 19, 2014

What a wonderful vacation staying at this home. The place was quite large. We visited Vero to be with family. My parents live their and both of my brothers came down and they rented places nearby. We all came to this home for evening gatherings together as the dining room was so large we used two folding table and multiple chair that were in the garage to have 19 in one room for dinner a couple of nights. The owners were accessible when we had a minor concern about the refrigerator and made sure to immediately get service folks to the property promptly. For as long as this house is available for our annual pilgrimage to vero we will be renting it!

Thanksgivng Vacation

December 4, 2013

This home get a thumbs up. Two thumbs up if there had been tvs in the bedroom. The men took over the televsions watching football. The women could not watch any of our reality tv :( but other than that very very nice.

Owner's reply:

Thanks for the thumbs up! With 5 bedrooms and two family rooms - that would be a lot of TVs! Hope you made it to the park, 2 doors away, the river on the park, and the beach 3 blocks away. Its December, and the temperature is in the 80s!

Very comfortable house

July 12, 2010

We had a lovely stay in that very spacious house. Vero Beach is a nice little town ; a bit quiet for young kids with energy but pleasant for tired parents.
