Reviews for this vacation cottage rental in Vinalhaven, Maine

I Have Never Placed A Review Before But This Time I Will. This Vacaton Get-a-away Was Incredible, Lots To Do On The Island, Lovely Location Of The A-frame, Easy To Walk Or Bike To Town, Library, Lane's Preserve, Armbruster Hill. We Slept Like Babies Every Night(so Exquisitively Quiet) And Heard The Birds Singing Sweetly And Heavenly The Next Morning. The A-frame Was Well Equipped From Kitchenware To Linens And Things. Great Classical Radio Station. Equipment Was Available For Wildlife Watching, Kayaking, and Loads Of Deck Furniture, Flowers, Wildflowers To Ensure A Pleasant Stay Outside As Well As Inside. Superb! We Are Not Use To Watching T.v. And Dvd Upstairs In One Of The Bedrooms(this Is Where The Electronics Were Located) So Did Not Watch Any T.v. Or Movies. The Main Road, East Boston Road, Was Being Torn Up And Was In Terrible Condition For Biking, Or Traveling By Car. There Is Parking For Visitors On The Main Road And A Wonderful Short Walk To The A-frame Is Doable From Here.

Delightful Cottage & Owners
October 17, 2007
Homey and well-equipped cottage with beautiful sunsets and delightful owners! Getting out could be a problem for some; the cottage is at the end of a dirt road and the entry to parking is narrow, necessitating backing up for several cars lengths in order to turn around and get out. It's definitely worth the effort!
