The building is on the west end of Waikiki as you enter this famous 1 mile strip of real estate. Hawaiian Monarch is a 45 story condo hotel, featuring a huge pool and deck area on 5th floor, laundry, convenience store (super market less than 3 blocks away), sports pub, gourmet breakfast and lunch hideaway, salon, Japanese restaurant and more.
Bus stops across the street to ride in any direction, a car is not necessary, but there is daily parking for ($16).
Area Information
Within 2 blocks of the famous Hilton Hawaiian Village and its beaches, which include swimming, surfing, and sun bathing. Ride the bus or walk to nearby (3 blocks) Ala Moana Shopping Center or Convention Center. The condo is at the junction of Kalakaua Ave (the main street in Waikiki) and Niu St, you can stroll to all the shopping and restaurants you can imagine.

At the opposite end of Waikiki is Diamond Head, Kapiolani Park which includes Waikiki Zoo, Aquarium, Shell and numerous other spots of interest. Nearby there is tennis and golf, or hike into Diamond Head Crater which is very popular.
