Wow!! If you want to get away and enjoy the beach , this is it!! We absolutely LOVED every minute of it! Sandi and Rich knows exactly how to treat their guests. We stayed 9 days and still didn't want to leave. We were calling it "home" coming back from an outing. It felt that nice to be there. Loved it!! Thank you Sandi and Rich

A peaceful, romantic getaway in a wooded wonderland complete with grazing llamas, a birder's paradise. Secluded and quiet in a rustic setting with no other houses in sight but only 5 miles to historic downtown Port Townsend. Surrounded by forest with many dog friendly walking trails...
I stayed here with my family over a 3-day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was easy to find and Tom came and greeted us as we arrived. We got a comprehensive overview of everything we could need in the house and was introduced to the llamas and areas around the property as well. We brought our small dog with us and the llamas were very curious about what she was! The house was very cozy and we bought some groceries at a small local store on the way in. All day we could hear and see the birds from right outside the window and at night we could hear the frogs from the pond. Port Townsend is indeed just a 10 minute drive away and there is plenty to see in terms of art galleries, small shops, historical sites and views. It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay and we definitely plan on returning again!
Your own private retreat on ten wooded acres also known as The Quilcene Bay Hideaway by many of our regular guests.. 500 front feet of warm summer swimming waterfront on pristine Quilcene Bay. One of a kind vacation rental with breathtaking view of Olympic mountains.
We stayed a weekend for our sons 13th birthday. When we arrived, they had balloons and streamers hung everywhere, he loved it! We loved the cabin, all the fun things to do in the area, and especially how secluded and quiet it was. The boys enjoyed watching the otters and climbing the rope course. We can't wait to visit again!
"Serenity Shores" is a lovely beach home on Diamond Point located between Port Townsend & Sequim with an incredible view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Protection Island (wildlife sanctuary tours), Mt. Baker, Victoria, & the most beautiful sunsets anywhere.
Waking up to deer...
We loved our stay at Serenity Shores! Our group insisted of five people ranging from ages 4 to 66 and everyone loved it. The house was a great size and 4 year old loved running in a circle through the house. The 15 year old loved having the sunroom with its futon as "her" room. The adults loved sitting by the panoramic windows overlooking the water. The kitchen was well supplied with what we needed and there were plenty of linens, enough to handle the spills and tumbles of a child. We liked our stay so much we extended it by one night so grandma and grandpa could sit and enjoy the view in an uninterrupted fashion!
Situated at the center of Whidbey island with spectacular views of the shipping lanes and Olympic Mountains. Enjoy a sweeping view of the sound, even Vancouver Island on a clear day. Watch ships, submarines and beautiful sunsets. Blue Water Cottage is only 10 miles from the Pt. ...
The owners were there to welcome us and you could tell they had worked hard to make their "cottage" a pleasant place to vacation. Everything was clean and bright with lots of windows to enjoy the views. Spent most of our time either on the deck or in the sunroom which became the "sunset room" as you could watch the lingering sunsets and beautiful colors as darkness descended. We enjoyed walking down to the beach and low tide strolls seeing birds along the way and the Pt. Townsend ferry plying back and forth. There were only 2 of us but the house has 3 bedrooms and would be great for a family or adult vacationers. Nearby Greenback Farm is worth a visit.
One of the most spectacular properties on Puget Sound, this spacious contemporary 4 bedroom, 3 bath home with two adjacent 1 bedroom cabins is sited on 155' of "sugar sand" no- bank waterfront facing west/southwest. Build castles on the beautiful sandy beach. Cast for salmon from...
Our family rented this home for six days at the end of June and beginning of July, 2015. The home is private, but close to activities, including the State Park, just a short distance away. We had a great time playing in the pool and on the beach, watching the ships sail by, seeing the deer and eagles, building a fort from driftwood, and digging tunnels in the sand. At night (when there wasn't a burn ban) we enjoyed a bonfire. The three dwellings are extremely well equipped and afford a lot of privacy. The master bedroom bath is heavenly, and there are great spaces for families who may need quiet time or time alone. The hot tub, near the master bedroom in the upper house, was delightful at night. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the dining room and outdoor tiled deck easily accommodated our family. The only real downside to the house is that it is on a hill, and there are many steps to the lowest "cabin", the pool and the beach.
This stunning 2000 sq ft designed home with open floor plan, vaulted ceilings and the loft make it romantic or the perfect family getaway. The views are amazing stretching from the Cascade Mountains, the night lights of Victoria Canada and the San Juan Islands.

This house is beautiful! It has lots of windows so you can see the gorgeous waterview from the back of the house. The first flow layout is very open. The top floor has 3 nice bedrooms and a 5 piece bathroom. Huge bathtub! There is also a nice loft area upstairs with additional seating and laundry. An added bonus is a 2 person sauna on the first floor. This house has great outdoor areas. A courtyard on one side of the house and a big deck looking out at the water on the other side. My family and I went with some of our friends and had a wonderful time! The owner is a very nice guy as well. We are so happy to have found such a nice place to stay in Oak Harbor.
The Retreat at Sunset Beach" is the perfect haven for relaxing days, combing the miles- long beach, sightseeing or nestling into a comfy adirondak on the deck with your favorite book. You may also choose to indulge your romantic side with an evening soak in the jacuzzi as you watch...
With our two college daughters only overlapping a weekend of Spring Break, we needed a place close by that still felt like a get-away. This was perfect! We arrived in a windstorm that had the waves crashing on the deck! We were surrounded by the turbulence of nature, but safe and secure in the beautiful, spacious yet cozy home. There was a room for everything we could want to do. The weather cleared enough to give us teasing glimpses of the spectacular views from the back deck including the snow-capped Olympic mountains. Early morning found me on the front deck gazing at a story book view of a huge lake with a backdrop of moss covered farm houses and listening to the birds waking up. We had a different park to hike at everyday including the marshes of Joseph Whidbey, the beach of Deception pass and the old growth forest of Ebey. Oak Harbor allowed a morning stroll with all the resident dog walkers followed by Starbucks and even had a movie theatre showing all the new weekend releases. We filled our afternoons with touristy explorations of boutiques and restaurants in Langley and Coupeville. There was so much to do in March, we can't imagine what it would be like to visit in the summer. Can't wait to come back!
Open the doors to your own rustic retreat nestled in the hills and surrounded by trees and open pasture. overlook the Strait of Juan de Fuca and see what it really means to be where the mountains meet the sea.

Amazing Large Family Home including Little Childre
“ Excellent ”
January 20, 2015
We had a 60th birthday celebration weekend with our extending family which included 8 adults and 4 children (3, 2, and 1 years old). This cabin was a true blessing and wonderful layout. Nice open kitchen with a large table and window seat to eat plus a second massive table (over 14 chairs) in the great room. The bedrooms were lovely and gave all the parents options on where to let babies sleep quietly while the adults played board games at night :) Located beautifully on a gentle hill which felt so secluded but literally 10 minutes away from the beautifully developed Sequim which had everything you could possibly want. The house had fun wall decal decorations that the kids absolutely loved and the extra touches of "little horsies" to entertain them for hours. Garage was full of bikes, ping pong, pool table, board games, etc. It rained our weekend visit but we had more than enough to play with at the Cabin inside. We even had some memorable moments on the zip line that sails over a cute pond out back near the hot tub. Such an amazing weekend for all of our group and a new tradition for our large family. Management of this house was wonderful- quick to communicate, very accommodating, and extremely friendly. Loved this cabin and we are looking forward to coming back again very soon!
This breathtaking beach retreat will truly take your breath away. It is a rare vacation rental find. The Sequim Beach House sits on 1. 3 acres of flat no- bank waterfront. The beach is sandy and perfect for walks, sand castles, kite flying or just relaxing and gazing out.
This home has everything you could dream of wanting as part of a family vacation. Lots of room indoors (big rooms, huge kitchen, lots of open rooms to be together but not cramped); lots of room outdoors ( huge yard - fenced, porch, deck, grass, BBQ, and direct access to private beach); privacy; fun toys (hot tub, board games, bikes, kayaks, and more). Our family appreciated the quiet neighborhood, the open home and yard, the beach and toys. Plus they allow pets. I would go back in a second. Highly recommend for a family that wants to be together and eat and play together or for a couple that would love the most romantic master suite and kitchen one could dream of. The master suite and kitchen are a blessing - the best I have ever stayed at.
No- bank beachfront home with large deck and HOT TUB located on 3 Crabs Road in Sequim. Private beach and tidelands. Incredible views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Dungeness Lighthouse, Mount Baker, Olympic Mountains, nighttime lights of Victoria BC Canada, passing ships, and...
This property provided an excellent water view (and mt. view clouds permitting). The views, well-equipped kitchen (except for baking dishes), and hot tub on the deck were this property's best amenities. The distance from town and the unavailable fireplace (turned off for the summer) were this property's "low points". Garage access would have been nice when it rained. Wi-Fi worked well. We cannot comment on the TV because we didn't use it. Something other than a clock radio might have been anticipated as a music source for the price of this rental. We would probably stay here again unless we could find a similar property closer to town (probably not likely given the area's geography).
Hello and welcome to Marty's Place at Strawbridge Farm, a 5 bedroom plus vacation rental with room for a few people or your entire family. This newly restored farm house has all the amenities of a modern home, but has maintained its rustic sensibilities. Enjoy the breathtaking views...
Marty's Place was simply the perfect location for our family getaway. The house is beautifully appointed, with a country feel, but all the modern amenities. We spent a large portion of our time outside -- on the porch relaxing (lots of reading materials around the house), by the fire pit watching the sunset, playing in the yard. But we also thoroughly enjoyed the stocked kitchen and preparing meals to eat around the large dining room table (there were ten of us). We enjoyed being able to walk into Langley, a favorite Whidbey town, or the quick jaunt over to Double Bluff beach, but still felt miles away from it all, because the property is so spacious and secluded. Thank you so much! We will be back.

We were a family group of 6 adults and 3 small children, joined for two of the 6 days by 2 more adults with 2 small children. Due to the thoughtful renovation of the upstairs, the house feels spacious and easily accommodates extra people willing to sleep on floor mats or a couch. Carolyn personally greeted us at the house to give us a detailed orientation and was readily available by phone during the week. We found this to be an enchanting home and property.
The decor of the home is utterly lovely, warm and welcoming and Carolyn has thoughtfully provided for every imaginable way visitors might like to spend their time. As my son put it, it is not a hotel in the form of a house, but rather an inviting and clearly well-loved home. We loved the gardens spilling with cutting flowers, the comfortable outdoor furniture and hammocks, the space for children to run and explore. Bill, the caretaker, gently guided the children (and adults) to become comfortable and familiar with the alpacas and llamas as individuals, and when asked, provided a wealth of information about these endearing animals. This marvelous opportunity is a unique benefit of this property.
We spent hours on the shell-covered beach and enjoyed it despite the abundance of seaweed, likely an effect of the hotter than usual weather. We ate most of our meals outdoors, and we will remember peaceful evenings on the lawn watching the sunsets evolve over the Sound and the distant Olympic Mountains. We expected to enjoy our family week, but it was definitely enhanced by spending it together in this magical place. I hope that we find a way to return here someday!
