A peaceful, romantic getaway in a wooded wonderland complete with grazing llamas, a birder's paradise. Secluded and quiet in a rustic setting with no other houses in sight but only 5 miles to historic downtown Port Townsend. Surrounded by forest with many dog friendly walking trails...
I stayed here with my family over a 3-day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was easy to find and Tom came and greeted us as we arrived. We got a comprehensive overview of everything we could need in the house and was introduced to the llamas and areas around the property as well. We brought our small dog with us and the llamas were very curious about what she was! The house was very cozy and we bought some groceries at a small local store on the way in. All day we could hear and see the birds from right outside the window and at night we could hear the frogs from the pond. Port Townsend is indeed just a 10 minute drive away and there is plenty to see in terms of art galleries, small shops, historical sites and views. It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay and we definitely plan on returning again!

We stayed a weekend for our sons 13th birthday. When we arrived, they had balloons and streamers hung everywhere, he loved it! We loved the cabin, all the fun things to do in the area, and especially how secluded and quiet it was. The boys enjoyed watching the otters and climbing the rope course. We can't wait to visit again!

This cozy 1, 000 sq. foot...
We had such a fun time at this place. I went with a friend and our children came to visit with their friends. We hung out on the deck talking, eating, reading watching shorebirds, enjoying the sun and fresh air. One morning a bald eagle with a snake or fish in its talons flew right over our heads and right then another eagle swooped in and grabbed the snake in its talons and they swirled around in the air fighting over the prey. What a sight! We also saw plenty of eagles and herons and other birds.
We went swimming in the bay and walking on the beach. You can't walk at high tide because the water comes all the way up to the steps (delightful!) but all the other times there is a beach to walk on. There are also hiking trails nearby in various parks.
There is a lovely big lawn for frisbees or whatever and a wonderful fire-pit for sitting around the "campfire' at night. The stars were wonderful too!
We loved this place!
