Say it with us now: chalet.
One more time with feeling: shall-A.
The mere sound is like a truffle melting on your tongue.
In the case of Colorado vacation rentals, it’s where to stay when you’re the chalet is the lodging of choice for many ski bunnies, and why not? After a challenging, frost-bitten day on the slopes, there’s no better place to cozy up than around a stone fireplace.
The featured Breckenridge vacation home is a ‘beaut. The 5,000-square-foot property, which sleeps 27 guests, is a celebration of the glorious Ten Mile Range that surrounds it. It was a close one, but the best feature of the house is the great room–a visual treat with its miles of windows and antler chandelier.
We also love the vistas from the master bathroom and the gnarled wood bedframe in the Juniper bedroom.
There’s another word that’s fun to say: gnarled. It almost sounds as nice as a ski vacation in January.
