Disney Area Vacation Rentals for Gamers

1 Flares 1 Flares ×

Blessed with a bounty of theme parks, water parks and interactive adventures, Orlando can count on tourists to flock to area attractions.

But what do you do to make your Disney Area vacation rentals stand out from the rest?

Start with the game room.

Chances are, any customer who goes the vacation home rental route is traveling with kids, extended family and maybe even the neighbors and their little ones. While Disney World and Universal Studios do a great job of occupying the tykes, there will be some days when the last thing anyone wants to do is brave the lines in tropical temps.

Game rooms, big or small, allow kids their own private sanctuary in a safe, stress-free environment.

Case in point: the Kissimmee vacation home in the photo. The simple room boasts an oversize TV, pool table and pinball machine. The conveniences, while not part of a full-scale arcade, save parents from dropping plenty of dollars at places like Chuck E Cheese or Dave & Busters.

If you have the room, invest in an old-school game like Galaga or Pac-Man for retro appeal. That should score even more points with the Gen Xers.

The big TV? An absolute necessity. Besides baseball and apple pie, what’s more American than gathering around the flatscreen TV? Especially after a long day of hoofing it around The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Here's hoping she finds you the vacation you deserve.
