Greetings from Paris

2 Flares 2 Flares ×

I can finally cross something off my travel bucket list. I saw the Eiffel Tower!

I have been in Paris for a week and I can’t get enough. It is absolutely beautiful. I don’t speak a word of French so I find myself nodding my head, pointing at things, and smiling. Here are a couple pictures from my trip:

That’s the Sacré Coeur at the top of Montmarte. The church was amazing, but I was also stunned by the remarkable view that was adjacent.

Isn’t that beautiful! I also got to see the Matisse exhibit at Pompidou, Paris’ modern art museum. The artwork was impressive, but so was the building!

Also I got to see Notre Dame and went to the historic and quirky bookstore, Shakespeare and Company. You could get lost in that store for hours.

And then I got to sit on the edge of the Seine and read a book.

It has been a perfect week and I am very sad to be leaving. Have you ever been to Paris? What did you see? If you haven’t do you want to go?

Yes, I’ve been to Paris twice, love it!! I love seeing photos of places I’ve been as it totally takes you back and makes you wish you were still there. Don’t worry it won’t be your last visit, something about Paris (and Rome) that calls to you and demands a return!

So glad you enjoyed your trip,
    Wendy

Thanks Wendy, I know exactly what you mean. It’s only been a couple weeks, but looking at these photos makes we want to check flight prices. I hope you and I both get to go back soon!
