March Madness Begins: Be There

1 Flares 1 Flares ×

It’s time to be at the game, not just watching from your living room. The Top 25 teams are wobbling through the ranks as regular season conference play comes to a hot end and conference tournaments begin. It’s hard to win on the road and sometimes just as hard to win at home. Be there for your team. Wear the lucky socks.

Texas at Kansas March 3

Will the “8 Straight” Champs finish the season on a high note? The Jayhawks host this final regular season meeting in Lawrence. This luxury lake house is the ideal base camp for a boys weekend of basketball. Best case scenario: you’re partying at the old college haunts and coming back to crash in the king master suite. Worst case scenario: skip rocks on the shore line, have a beer, drop in a fishing pole. There’s room for six, so round up the whole crew. Lake Pomona is easy to access with a nearby marina. Drop in the boat and relax.

UNLV vs Wyoming March 3

Does it get any better? Sports and Vegas! Take an ultimate season-closing boys weekend and stay where the action really is: an apartment for 10 guests on The Strip with wild city lights views. Yeah, this is a place you can relax. Soak off the after-party feel in the jacuzzi or just lounge around in bed and watch more games on TV.

Sand Diego State at TCU March 3

If a wild weekend in Fort Worth sounds like fun, up the ante and stay on a ranch. The game might be a swift W for San Diego State, so make the adventure all in the trip. The MD Resort Bed and Breakfast is a vacation alternative on 37 acres of good ol’ Texas ranch. The western decor is classic saloon meets elegant boudoir. This is an especially family friendly basketball vacation. Remember, it’s never too early to teach your children to support your team.
