It’s been widely reported that Astor Courts, a Beaux Arts gem set in the pastoral Hudson Valley, will be the site of Chelsea Clinton’s wedding on July 31 to her investment banker boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky. Supposedly, the guest list had to be whittled down to 400, which might not seem like a lot for the daughter of a former U.S. president, but considering the number of foreign dignitaries, politicians, donors and celebrities in the family’s inner circle, the feat couldn’t have been easy.
And the tougher part: where to house all those A-listers.
Besides the Beekman Arms Inn, which is completely booked, what are guests to do about lodging? Hudson Valley vacation rentals perhaps?
If they’re seeking and local flavor, invitees should look into surrounding areas, like Stanfordville vacation rentals, including the farmhouse estate featured in the photo. It’s about a 20-minute drive to Rhinebeck, which won’t know what hit it when swarms of paparrazzi attempt to catch the first photos of Chelsea in her dress.
Good luck getting anywhere close to the propery. Astor Courts is at the end of a unmarked dirt road and off limits to John Smith.
That includes you, Mr. and Mrs. Salahi.
