While some of us balk at the sign of the first snowflake, you pray for blizzards.
If you could live in your North Face coat 24/7, you would, and if it wasn’t for your day job, you’d live in a ski town full time.
This year, you’ve got your eyes on Lake Tahoe vacation rentals. To the delight of you and other snow bunnies nationwide, Mother Nature dumped record snowfall on the area at the end of November, setting a foundation for 10-foot drifts.
And luckily for you, a big group of friends decided to join the party this year to shoulder the cost of your winter ski getaway. Now it’s all a matter of narrowing down dates.
We offer up the Truckee log home on the west end of Donner Lake. The four bedroom property is a 10-minute drive from Sugar Bowl ski resort, and 20 minutes from the Lake Tahoe area. Twelve guests can stay comfortably in the home, which boasts four king-sized log beds, one queen, two twins, and a loft.
Once you’re off the slopes, you’ll be sharking on the Brunswick pool table or better yet–sitting by the cozy river rock fireplace or in the Jacuzzi tub.
Go ahead Old Man Winter. Stay awhile. We’ll be up on the mountain.
