Here in New England the cold spell is still holding on. That means I’m dreaming of Florida. Take a look at our most popular Florida locations to get you in the mood for a tropical excursion. Be sure to comment and tell us your favorite!
1. Kissimmee
Kissimmee is the most popular location not just in Florida, but on all of VacationHomeRentals.com! It’s no wonder why; Kissimmee, Florida is right next to Disney World! There are over 500 great properties in Kissimmee, but this Kissimmee townhouse caught my eye because of it’s great location and 72 awesome reviews. Plus, I love the purple theme in the bedroom.
2. Davenport
Number two in Florida is also right by Disney World. Davenport has more to offer than its proximity to Disney. Lake Kissimmee State Park is the perfect place to go for all your nature needs. This Davenport vacation home is a dream come true. The place has a pool, themed rooms for the kids, and a game room.
3. Cape Coral
Cape Coral is the best place to go for a sunny nature vacation. Between sailing, hiking, and fishing you’ll barely have enough time to enjoy a charming Cape Coral riverfront vacation home. This villa on the river, has a pool in the back with a lake view. I can’t imagine a better place to relax.
4. Panama City
Panama City is next on the popularity list and it’s obvious why. Panama City has the fun city vibe, as well as pure white sandy beaches. This Panama City Beach condo rental would be an awesome choice for a winter vacation. Also, be sure to keep some binoculars by your balcony, Panama City Beach has the highest concentration of bottle-nosed dolphins in the world. How exciting?!
5. Destin
This list wouldn’t be complete without this emerald, Destin, Florida. Destin is known for it’s emerald green waters and super soft sand. Although this was originally just a small fishing village it has become so much more. The Caribbean architecture on this Destin vacation home and the short walk to the beach make it an absolute paradise.
Which is your favorite Florida location? Is it on our list? Where else would you recommend?

You can’t deny Fort Myers is an absolute must when visiting Florida as is Sanibel Island. This will be my home in the hopefully near future!
I love Fort Myers, Leslie! Having Florida as a home would be a dream!
