Apple picking is a classic fall activity that is an autumn must. Have you ever been apple picking in New York state? Would you put it on your travel bucket list?
This New York state vacation home in Cobleskill would be the perfect place for an early autumn vacation.
The handmade home is on 70 acres of land and is full of fall foliage and even has apple trees onsite.

If you are looking for a bigger apple picking experience there is Middlefield Orchard. It’s a town over from Cobleskill and would be a great place to bring any apple-loving family. There are also pumpkins ready to pick at the same time!

Apple picking in Connecticut is great, too.
2012 was not a good year for apples in the Northeast but we have delicious Honey Crisps
on a scenic hillside.
My favorite has always been the McIntosh, but Honey Crisps from Connecticut sound like they would be a close second.
