Print MediaBack up all your online marketing with a good supply of printed material that you can hand to business colleagues, put on notice boards at work or simply give to the person you’ve been chatting to in the supermarket line-up. You can even go further and have your own line of promotional products to sell at your property.
Business CardsThese can be done inexpensively at most of the online print stores. Make it simple and include the property name, your name and email address, plus the web site or listing URL. Then make sure you hand them out to as many people as you can.
Brochure/LeafletCreate an attractive leaflet or single sided card you can place in tourist offices and on notice boards. Full color is best as it will get noticed, and it’s a good idea to have it professionally designed for maximum impact. Check out online print suppliers like Vistaprint for ideas.
Custom PostcardsUse an on-line print shop to create a great postcard showing the best photo you have of your property. You can even add captions like ‘Don’t you wish you were here?” Send them to past guests to market special offers in low season or leave a stamped postcard with each set of guests who stay so they can market for you by sending them to their friends. This is a really creative and targeted way of marketing and can be very effective.
Promotional ProductsThere’s no end to the possibilities of promoting your place with takeaways, or even items you can sell. Once people are in your property, they are a captive audience for souvenirs of their vacation and can become a walking advertisement for you. Mugs, baseball caps, T-Shirts, fridge magnets and even tote bags can be imprinted with your logo and web site address. To take advantage of lower pricing you will need to buy in bulk so choose this option carefully
