This place was gorgeous! Plenty of space for the two of us, beautifully decorated & very comfortable. We didn't cook, but if we had, we would've had everything we needed; cookware/utensils seemed in practically new condition. The only thing I would mention to the owners is to provide trashcans in each bathroom : )The views were incredible on clear days, but even if it was a little foggy, it was so relaxing to just sit on the patio or in the living room inside & watch the waves break on the rocky shores. My favorite part was bundling up with one of the soft throw blankets they had & sitting on the patio just to gaze out at the water; there was rarely a time that we didn't see whales spouting or seals swimming. We used & enjoyed the hot tub several times. NOTE: By "private" hot tub it is meant that it is exclusively for use by the 1-2 guests. It is not however, private, as in, secluded; guests staying in the other rentals will be able to see you while out on their decks/patios or walking on the rocks. This wasn't a real problem for us, but just an FYI. We would highly recommend the restaurant, "Tidal Raves". We went for lunch-got there as soon as they opened, so no waiting + a table with a breathtaking view! The spicy margarita with the habanero infused tequila was uniquely delicious. We ordered the smoked salmon chowder, coconut crusted wild shrimp and the waiter recommended, green curry-all of it superb! The best meal we had on the Oregon Coast anywhere! We took a drive northward all the way to Tillamook. but if we had to do it over, we would've skipped that entire part. Unless you enjoy being herded like cattle, to wait in a mile-long line for a few cubes of cheese, I'd avoid Tillamook altogether. Besides, you can get Tillamook products just about anywhere. Though, I thought their cheese was nothing to really rave about, their low-fat California Peach & Mountain Huckleberry yogurts were delicious! A great place to get coffee was the Pirate Coffee Company. I got the Spicy Wench-a blend of chai, coffee & butter rum-an odd sounding combination, but seriously, it's divine and is one of their best selling drinks. I had to go back for another the next day. They also have homemade goodies like the milk chocolate pecan turtles which were wonderful + they have very friendly service. We loved our time spent on the Oregon coast; if we ever have a chance to go back we would stay here again in a heart beat! Thanks so much for making our stay one to remember!
