Hi, I'm Brian J.!

I'm very lucky to live in a pretty nice home with a great view of San Diego's Mission Bay and downtown skyline, but I seriously do not believe it is as nice a view or as great a feeling as I get on my deck over looking Lake Coeur d'Alene.

The four seasons, warm summer days, friendly people, small town atmosphere and the lifestyle choice people make to live in Coeur d'Alene make me envious.

I have been lucky enough to travel all over the US, Europe's vaunted Mediterranean Coasts, Australia and Asia, and there isn't a place with warm dry air, so few bugs, and the physical beauty of Lake CdA. I guess that is why National Geographic named Lake CdA one of the five most beautiful lakes in the world!

Winter, fall, spring or summer, come see why I refer to it as My Own Private Idaho!

Here is my property:

Perfect Family Escape!

“ Excellent ”
August 19, 2011
Our family of 6 had a fantastic time in this spacious yet cozy cabin. Kids who are aged 1, 4 and 13 (2), had a blast playing tetherball, horseshoes, croquet, lego, board games, watching movies and hot tubbing. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. It was great to get there after our long drive from Canada and not have to worry about getting paper products, spices, oils, towels, soaps- these were all provided! Every kitchen appliance and utensil you could imagine. Fans in every room kept us nice and cool. There was equipment for every sport imaginable, 4 bikes, a kids pool, fishing rods, paper and crayons, etc, etc. We also used their Idaho and Spokane handbooks more than once to help us decide where we wanted to go. The location is perfect in a little holiday community on the lake yet, up on a hill surrounded by trees so you feel like you have your own private getaway. It is 20 minutes to almost everywhere you'd want to go- Silverwood, Coeur D'Alene, Spokane, Post Falls, Farragut State Park- we did them all! What a fantastic family holiday- even our 13 year olds want to come back. Would definitely return to this great place!
