Eight years ago our father passed after living @ El Matador for over 20 years. Our family decided to keep his place as this is such a beautiful peaceful location. None of the family (4 brothers & 1 sister) live near Ft Walton Beach but it is such a great getaway we all come down a week or two each year.
I live in Texas and have a 16 year old son that turns into a fish the whole time he is here. My wife loves to take morning strolls on the 13.5 miles of undeveloped beach and we both love going in the evening and watching the awesome sunsets.
