We'll be returning!
May 30, 2013
Searched Internet for a week for the perfect accommodations. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised at Villas Los Arcos. Nancy recently lost her husband and travels a lot but had a wonderful friend greet us and made us feel at home. Unlike other units this was private and away from most touristy activity. Very clean, comfortable and updated. Three other couples joined us in Zihuatanejo and were amazed at our accommodations compared to theirs! This was our first trip to Zihua and we will be returning and staying at Villa Los Arcos without hesitation. A second unit was being built next door which appears to be an identical unit. It will be fun to explore and compare to the El Roble unit we stayed in. King size beds are extremely comfortable; AC in very large bedroom with desk, tv, couches; smaller outside kitchen (with refrigerator/freezer, stovetop, sink, coffee maker ) and dining area overlooking pool; hammock swing on another balcony and bathroom with hair dryer (nice not to have to pack one) which was private yet open air and extremely inviting. Plants adorn the walls and the unit had just the right amount of Mexican flavor throughout it. Rooms cleaned daily with the exception of Sunday. Nancy's dogs were great companions but didn't overstep their bounds. Library by the spacious, clean infinity pool. One restaurant a few doors down had a band one night playing late but with AC running it wasn't too noticeable. Several restaurants along the beach to choose from. Short walk from Los Arcos to the beach. Para sailing just off the beach, boat charters available to fish or cruise. Scheduled buses (stop just outside Los Arcos) going to/from town or can walk/take taxi. Highly recommend staying here. We ran into a man that makes a yearly visit here and stays for a couple of months.
