Hi, I'm Paula!

My husband, Bob and I live in Brunswick, Georgia which is about 90 miles south of Savannah, Georgia and just north of Jacksonville, Florida. Bob is a lawyer so if you call me at work don't be surprise if the firm answers. I have my rental office here because I couldn't get cheaper rent anywhere else. Along with managing our property on Tybee, I also manage the law firm so sometimes it can be quite hectic. I love the rental part of my job, the guest are always in such a good mood when looking for a rental that it is a pleasure to work with them to make sure they find the perfect place to stay. And, whomever you rent from, rememberhave a good time, that's what Tybee is all about. Whether you rise early and walk on the beach or stay out late listening to the local live music, Tybee has something for everyone. It is a place you will never forget!

Here is my property:

We really liked this cottage. It's spacious, bright and airy and very clean. The huge dining area and view of the ocean were among my favorite features. Lots of ceiling fans kept it nice and cool. The kitchen is small and could use some dish rags, towels and maybe a muffin pan : ) The queen room upstairs has windows with little shutters that open to the hallway. The top half of the windows are open so there isn't much sleeping in to be had in that room. The room with the bunk beds was nice and the kids loved it. The bunks could use some new mattresses at some point tho. There were T.V's in most of the rooms even in the dining area which was nice. I'm not sure if there were T.V's downstairs. Downstairs is the two other queen rooms and another bath. One of the rooms is completely open so there's not a lot of privacy. There is a 1 ton a/c unit in the downstairs that keeps it nice and cool. I felt the unit was a little noisy but it makes for good white noise while you are trying to sleep. The beach and the pier are just a short walk away. This cottage is close to everything really. The garage came in handy for putting all of beach stuff in at the end of the day instead of having to bring it all in the house. I couldn't get the lights to work in the garage however. There is also a washer and dryer in the garage. The chain on the light is real short and took me a minute to find. The charcoal grill and little fenced in backyard were other pluses. We didn't happen to use the hot tub during our visit. This rental really exceeded my expectations. You just can't get this much space for the price and so close to the beach!
