Hi, I'm Lawton!

Hi, I'm Lawton and I'm happy you have discovered Star Mesa! I lived here at the cabin for 5 years before moving into the town of Salida - which is a charming and friendly "village" about 15 miles away. My husband and I both have offices in the historic downtown and ride our bikes or walk to work. I've vacation rented Star Mesa for several years now and help others manage their vacation properties through my business at Pinon Real Estate Group. I love the fresh air, slow pace and natural beauty of this area and can't imagine living anywhere else. I love to travel but am happy to come home Salida and occasionally, Star Mesa! The whole area inspires me to spend time in the mountains, be active outdoors, write, grow and cook healthy food and generally enjoy life. I hope you find that joy here too!
