Winter in May, and still a marvelous experience!

The Kiddville Ranch was a very intriguing place to stay with its well preserved and documented history right on the property. The house itself has been well modernized, and though feels like an old farm house was very comfortably furnished, and provided well for a relaxing place to stay. The extra land is fun to explore, and peeking in the old mining buildings was a fun journey back in time. The hosts made a point to meet us, and to provide for all of our needs, but the house was definitely ours for the entire week, and tucked well into the Black HIlls it is definitely a spot for a private retreat and get-away. We would highly recommend it. My wife and I brought our two kids, and dog, and met our two childless friends for an entire week. It met all of our needs and made for great memories.
