Hi, I'm Ervin!

My husband and I are recently retired and moved permanently to St Augustine in 2011. We love living right on the ocean where we enjoy swimming, fishing, walking on the beach, beautiful sunrises and sunsets! My husband was a Presbyterian Pastor for 40 years and I worked for the national denomination. We have seven children and three grandchildren. We love St Augustine! It is a charming and historical town with terrific restaurants and friendly people! Our favorite restaurant "Caps" is within walking distance on the inland waterway. This is a quiet, family friendly beach, not commercialized or overcrowded! Sea turtles, dolphins, pelicans and the occasional whale - these are our fun neighbors.

Worth the very reasonable price!!

Well, this is definitely worth the $500 price for one week's stay. We made it in this small apartment with a family of 4. Little tight quarters sometimes but again for the price you cannot beat this. Only thing that would have made it better was an oven and washer and dryer. Also, would have been nice to had a deck to sit on and watch the ocean....especially since the house is so close to the ocean. I would have loved to had my morning coffee sitting on a deck watching the ocean. Again, well worth the $500, and for a family on a very tight budget like we were.
