Hi, I'm Karen Schilling

As my family and I tranferred around much of the eastern United States due to job requirements, I always wanted to own a "bed and breakfast". Now that I am retired and geographically stabilized, after more than 40 years as a registered nurse, my wish has come true. Well, there is still no breakfast,( number 1 because I do not like to cook), but I hope you will find the rest of your stay totally enjoyable. I try to treat everyone as a guest and not as a customer. Because of that, much of my business is now return guests. Both of my units are fully furnished, and I try to anticipate as many of your needs as possible including beach towels and toys, charcoal, and beach chairs. Perdido Key is my favorite place in the world, and I hope you will agree. It is a very laid back, and peaceful setting. But, a more active setting is just over one bridge to Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, Alabama, or over another bridge to the Pensacola Florida, area (home of the Navys' Flying Blue Angels). I hope you will get to experience Perdido Key, and would love to have you as a guest!
