Hi, I'm Donna!

I grew up on Cape Cod - high school and two years of college. It will always be my home. I love everything about the Cape. I enjoy suggesting places to go and fun things to do while you are visiting. I also like hearing what places you have discovered and share suggestions with other guests. It is always nice to hear that visitors really enjoyed their stay and hope to return again.

Very Nice Home in an Excellent Location

“ Excellent ”
June 29, 2015
The rooms in this home are very spacious. Large eat-in kitchen, comfortable living room, bedrooms have very comfortable beds! No tripping over anyone here and the location is excellent! We travelled to Providence Town (about 30 minutes), Woods Hole to catch the ferry (Steamship Authority) to Martha's Vineyard (only about 45 minute drive), travelled to Hyannis to board the ferry to Nantucket (only about a 12 minute ride--Steamship Authority as well), We went to North Turo to the Highland Light House and museum (if you tour both, the museum will give you a coupon for $1 off the entrance fee to the lighthouse). The working lighthouse (66ft with guided tours) is next to the golf course and picutres from the top are beautiful! There is also the Turo Winery who is now making their own rum! Wish we had time to stop by because it was highly recommended by the locals. Many beaches within a few minutes drive. We went to Paines Creak beach and saw an oyster farm. When the tide is low, you can walk out for about a miile. The day we were there we were able to talk with the farmers. Everyone is very pleasant and informative. All in all I would rate this one of our best vacations!
