Great location!

We had a great stay at Christopher's River Cabin. We stayed 4 nights, loving how secluded the cabin is and its location right on the river. The views driving into the cabin are breathtaking. We were able to sit in the hot tub in the snow while watching the river - magical! The fee for our dog is much lower than other places, and it was a great spot for her. The cabin has everything you'd need - Be sure to bring spices, oil, etc. from home. Also any of your favorite pans or pots. The only concerning moment we had was that one of the upstairs bedroom windows was open when we arrived, and we didn't notice. The next day we entered the house and there was a poor bird stuck to a sticky mouse trap in the middle of the living room. I guess the bird flew in through the window and smelled something on the trap (I was concerned about our dog finding a trap after that, but we couldn't find any more so I guess they are well-placed). My boyfriend took the bird outside and put it out of it's misery - it was very sad. Otherwise, great vacation! We hope to return!
