Hi, I'm Lynda!

My husband Chris and I moved to Maine almost 15 years ago from South of Boston, MA. My husband was a conveyancing attorney in Boston, and I was Director of Operations at an engineering firm, SEA Consultants, in Cambridge, MA.
We looked for just the right place for five years before we found the right property. After eight months of getting to know the Eastern part of Maine, that is, Downeast Maine, I decided to work part-time to get to know the people as well as the beautiful sites of this area.
I love to read, see our grandchildren, work on house projects, travel, sail and garden. I like to laugh, good food, good friends, and most of all, spending time with Chris.
We love it here! Summers are short, but filled with activities, visits from friends and family, bright flowers, many birds, long days, visits to the many islands off the coast, lobster feeds, bright stars, long walks.
I work 15 hours a week, volunteer for Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County and Friends in Action, a senior citizen support organization.
