TIAHURA (literally “dance upright”) is located at the North-West point of Moorea and opposed to Tiai’a, the North-East’s.
These two points are, according to local legends, the two guardians of the island. According to the “Tupuna” (ancestors) there was a fundamental balance to be kept between the forces from the mountains, the land and those from the ocean.
To respect the story, on which LEGENDS RESORT concept was based, it was essential to design the hotel in harmony with nature, hence the use of noble materials (wood, stone).
It was a challenging project however, the property now offers 46 villas serviced by a team of 30 employees carefully selected, trained and dedicated to guests comfort, ensuring low key elegance service for flawless villas and excellent service.
