We're a "mature" (read as getting old!) couple with adult kids and grandchildren. We own and manage a care home for older people and Jim is also a builder.
We've loved the US and its people for many years and been visiting Florida in the winter to meet up with friends from PA and NJ for a good few of those years.So it seemed logical to have our dream home built down there in the gulf coast area, which we love for its tranquility.
Because we're not "razamatazz" people, the fact that Rotonda has no light polution, makes it ideal for us. To sit in the spa at night, with friends and a glass or two (plastic, of course!) and watch the stars, makes this our little corner of heaven.
We have made our American home as comfortable as our UK home and just love being there as much as we can.
