What a hidden gem! My friend and I were looking for a quiet beach getaway and did we ever find it in Moclips! We're even planning our next trip back. Ocean Dreams was the perfect set up. Our little apartment by the sea was just the right mix of comfy and casual. The suite has everything needed for a stay, right down to the wine glasses! Laurie and Doug went above and beyond when providing information about different activities, restaurants and sights available in the area. They have compiled an information package that's left in the suite with many pamphlets of different things you can go see. We had read another guests review about going to Lake Quinault and hiking to the waterfalls. They were right! Totally worth it! Plus Doug had told us that you can drive all the way around the lake, so even though it doesn't show it on the map, there is a dirt road leading to a bridge that connects both sides. Bit of a goat trail, single lane at some points so go slow! The suite has a great lanai with lots of chairs that can be moved around to provide the best view. Being that it's the Pacific coast, it can be a little windy at times (bring a hoodie and some earbud headphones) but walking the beach and finding clams and sand dollars makes up for that. For one night we ventured down the road to the Crest Resort dining room and had one of the best meals I have ever experienced. I recommend it, although it's pricey. If you don't bring groceries with you, there's a small convenience store within a very short walking distance of this rental that has a little of everything, including take and bake pizza.. And wine! And probably one of the neatest things about this particular spot is that you are allowed to drive your vehicle down onto the beach. The road is just off to the side of Ocean Dreams, but even though there were occasionally people coming and going, the place is private enough you don't really notice them! All in all the place was just awesome and exactly what we needed! We're definitely coming back!
