Hi, we're Barbara & Michael!
We enjoy the out of doors, from fishing at the dock, watching the boats go by or walking at number of our local parks.
This week we stopped by 4 Freedom Park, to enjoy the shimmering Bimini Bay, and catch a few rays at the small sunbathing beach there. It is quite small, intimate, no swimming, but a great place to see a beautiful sunset!
There is space for kids to play soccer or smaller kids to enjoy a small playground. Picinicing is shaded and lingering is easy.
We also went to Rotary Park this week, walked all the way out to Glover bight on the boardwalk thru the wetlands, and climbed the tower about halfway out. We also checked out the small butterfly house that is open several mornings a week. We saw lots of people and their dogs enjoying Waggin Tail dog park, a large fenced and shaded area where pups can run free and everyone is happy.
We plan to take our bikes back there to ride the circular walking and biking trail there at Rotary park, also the workout bars there can be a challenge, along the course.
We have enjoyed walking many of the nature trails at Rotary park and have never tired of them.
.At home, we plan to plant a few more fruit trees because the lemons, limes, and avocados we grow are great. It is fun to go to the farmers market with our produce and trade for other home grown items.
Some of our favorite restaurtants are Cioas Italian, or the Sandy Hook for seafood, and Berts has a great burger!
