Both my wife (Mary Lou) and I are natives of Massachusetts. Mary Lou was born and raised in Worcerter Mass and I grew up in Orange Mass. We retired to St. Augustine in 1999 and after living there for 5 years we found The Villages and bought our villa as an investment. When the villa was not in use we would spend time in The Villages enjoying the village lifestyle. We fell in love with the active villages life style (we think there are over 2000 activities available here) and in 2005 we bought a house and moved from St Augustine to the village of Valle Verde on a full time basis. We have made many new friends over the past 7 years (including most of the folks who have used our villa) that we are true believers in the advertisement that claims The Villages is america's friendliest home town.
