A Slice of Paradise

The location of the condo is wonderful. It is on a very quiet end of a long stretch of beach that is mostly unpopulated. The amenities of the condo are as described except that we could not locate a BBQ. There is an inventory that renters are required to check over and sign and we found this task rather onerous and certainly not useful to us as renters. As a vacationer you really do not want to have a "job" to accomplish and one as meticulous as this. Our thought was that this activity would have been best undertaken by a member of the management team. However, this was a small and minor annoyance in the scheme of things. There are three buildings to this complex and we stayed in the one named Caracol. This building is the furthest from the water's edge but the views from the balcony are breathtaking and we enjoyed seeing the palms tress and houses that lined the beachfront. The grounds at the Talanguera are beautiful and meticulously cared for.The walk to the beach house and the infinty pool takes no more then a few minutes and then you are directly on the beachfront. The infinity pool is to die for and it is well maintained and cleaned regularly as is the jacuzzi. The condo is well furnished and the appliances are in excellent shape. The complex istelf is very well maintained and the wrokers are all friendly. The guards are stationed around the complex 24/7 and they ensure that no one gets onto the property without authorization. We were very well treated by the management of the condo. Christine was always available to answer our questions or to provide us the informtaion we needed. She was always very prompt in responding to our queries. She organized a driver for us to transport us from the Managua airport to the Talanguera complex and that was wonderful. The driver stopped at a grocery store along the way so we were able to purchase some essential items to get us started. It is truly only a 10-15 minute walk along a beautiful beach to arrive in the centre of town. It was always a pleasant walk with sea breezes to refresh you as you made your way into town. We highly recommend the Talanguera and would stay there again.
