The unit was well decorated and had a wonderful view of the lake. Heritage Bay Country Club definitely had a "resort feel" and staff treated us like we were full time members instead of only "transfer members". In fact, we liked Heritage Bay so much we bought a unit while we were there. The $275 transfer fee for all Club privledges is the bargain of the year and while we anticipated having trouble getting tee times, we played serveral times a week with no problem. I thought the Club should have only charged "transfer members" the same $25 they charge members instead of $55 but it is what it is. Golf was a great way to meet people and we accumulated a half dozen new friends. We only ventured off campus for dining on rare occasions because the service and prices on site was so good. (Plus it kept us off the roads after a few adult beverages!) The family room and master bedroom had flat screen TV's but only basic cable. I missed having access to a DVR. The unit was comfortable and clean and having access to a garage was a big plus Missed having an electric can opener and blender but the owner and I spoke so I suspect that will be remedied shortly. The owner was a joy to work with and I would recommend this unit and Heritage Bay to others!
