Great Seclusion

“ Excellent ”

My wife and I stayed along with our labrador retriever this past weekend and had a great time. The cabin is perched on the top of a mountain and not a single sound can be heard other than nature, birds, and the weather. If you're looking for a total seclusion, off grid experience, this is the place. The bathroom is super clean and does not smell, the water situation is fun and not a lot of work, and the gas lights are fun and cozy at night. Completely off grid and what a view - you wont get tired of just relaxing to the view of the mountains. Great hosts, great location, give it a try!

Best Get Away Ever

“ Excellent ”
August 23, 2015
My friends and I were utterly amazed at the beauty of the scenery here at this cabin. This place is a great artist's retreat as you need not go far to find an amazing view of mountains, clouds, like rivers flowing down the mountain sides during rain, or the play of cloud shadows moving like waves across the face of the mountains. It is one of the most beautiful and wild places I have had the benefit to stay. We especially enjoyed the night sky, seeing the meteor showers and the Milky Way, which due to light pollution, I have not seen in years. Being serenaded by coyotes while watching the meteor shower: priceless. This one night alone, was a great high light. The cabin is very comfy and has all the amenities. The outdoor shower is fun and brought back memories of camp days as a kid. This is the place to go if you love fishing, nature, are an artist, photographer or you just NEED to get away from people for a few days with your soul mate. My friends and I have decided an annual journey back is in order until we're all too old and crippled to make the walk to the cabin. We'll be back and soon. Thanks for a really memorable vacation.
