Hi, I'm Victoria!

Hi, I'm Vicki Giannukos from Houston, Texas. I have 4 sons who are my partners in Seco Springs Adventures. Our family includes my 5 grandchildren ages 11-5 who really love their time at the ranch. The grandchildren especailly love the trampoline and swimming in the lake on their floats and noodles. We love to ride our 4 wheelers all over the property and occassionally enjoy saddling the horses for a ride. We have done a lot of work clearing the valleys of the cedar so they can be enjoyed and explored. We love our piece of paradise in Utopia and decided this year to offer to share this experience with others. The bonds we make at Seco Springs are special and memorable.

I love to visit Bandera on Wednesday nite for Steak nite at 11th Steet. The locals are there for an evening of music and dancing. So bring your steak and be ready to cook your own and have a great time! When I don't feel like cooking, I go to Ernie and Mac's in Tarpley for great tasting meals they are only open on Wednesdays, Friday and Saturday nites. Another special treat is dinner at The Laurel Tree in Utopia which is like an evening in Provence they require reservations and are open on Saturdays only. By the way, they have a 9 hole golf course in Utopia if you love golf.

We hope that you will plan a vacation or family gathering in one of our hill country homes. The 2700+ acres with lakes and and trails give us so many spots to explore. Bring your 4 wheelers and see it all! The lookout deck is perfect to watch the sunset. I like to take a bottle of wine with some snacks and watch the sun sink behind the hills. The lakes offer challenges for fishermen vs the black bass...pack your fishing polls and tackle and see what you can catch. The stable with 5 stalls and corral are ready for your horses. Bandera is close by for more of the cowboy flavor.

I am always so excited to arrive and never get enough! Hope you come and feel the same.
Vicki

How we LOVED our family Christmas this year. It was a Big House on the Praire meets Wild Bill Hickok experience. It was more than we could have imagined. The home was perfect for us--our family of 19 could fellowship in the huge living room--big enough for all ! The massive dining table allowed everyone to be there at once--The kitchen, too. We ALL hung out together, which was our vision for the gathering. We loved that the owner trusted her guests enough to let us enjoy her lovely things--every surface perfectly designed and decorated with her own family pieces. Beautiful pillows, amazing sofas and chairs, comfy rugs---the huge fireplace, ready to be hung with our own stockings......and the bedrooms: no Bed, Bath, and Beyond here. Cowgirl linens dressed big manly beds--pure luxury. We could hardly drag ourselves from our coccoons every morning--(thanks to the blackout draperies)---even the children slept late on Christmas. We caught fish, climbed trees, hiked the canyons (real canyons), stood on the tops of mountains--(the meeting place on top of the highest one was amazing--the perfect place for a sunset bonfire), went four-wheeling, cooked, sang.We loved the little bedroom off of the family room --perfect for our matriarch (92) to nap and the little ones to play, all in earshot. The bunkroom---what an adventure for the cousins---log bunks all lined up like frontier soldiers---so fun!!The foreman was delightful--the owner, a phone call away for advice on outings. Even though it felt like we were out on the frontier, the town and a beautiful Christmas Eve Church service was a short ride away. We were too busy visiting to turn on the tele--but every room had one and the wi-fi was handy for the daddies checking in with work. It was the best of both worlds. We were well blessed by the Lord in this place--it is obvious that the owners are blessed as well. It is a beautiful spot.We wouldn't have changed a thing--we can't wait to go back in the spring!!!
