Hi, I'm Mark!

I've been fortunate to call Pagosa Springs my home for over 35 years. I travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, proliferating my environmental and humanitarian construction materials and methods. My proprietary construction methods provide the ability to construct homes in a fraction of the time required by traditional construction methods. Further, these homes are approximately four times (400%) more energy efficient than conventional wood frame construction. Finally, these homes are permanent; not subject to destruction by fire, earthquake, hurricane, rot, flood, termites, etc. The materials utilized are indigenous, locally available, and typically freely obtainable. The strength, longevity, and energy efficiency is vastly superior to Portland cement based concrete. Further, we earn carbon credits and have been touted as having the potential to be the single largest private producer of credits in the world.

Through extensive travel, I've come to learn that there are few comparables to the pristine beauty of our San Juan mountains and rivers. Pagosa has successfully retained the feel of the unspoiled Rocky Mountain towns we knew years ago. The attributes of Pagosa Springs could fill volumes. We can enjoy the majority of the highest peaks and the largest wilderness areas in the U.S. And all at our doorstep. We have, I believe, the best hot springs (both primitive and commercialized) in the world. And finally, we are a meca for white water enthusiasts.

Staying in our historic "down" town area allows our visitors to enjoy and experience the old ski resort feeling from Colorado's past. There are not acres of condos and townhomes to blot out the beauty of our downtown mountain views, rivers or streams. There is no need to drive anywhere as the best restaurants, shopping and even our hot springs are only a short stroll on the river walk from our sunny passive solar vacation homes finished in 2008.
