We are both professors of Geological Sciences at the University of Florida. We studied at Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego and our teaching and research involves the ocean. Some of our favorite past times (after visiting the beach) are to sail and kayak. Clearly, we love the ocean and have found St. Augustine Beach to be one of the nicest we've ever seen.
