We had a wonderful time at this place! It was clean when we got there, and the owner was very clear and accommodating. Parts of the house were dated (such as the faucet in the kitchen, couches in the living room were in good condition but looked old, some of the paint, the stove, etc.), but not in a bad way, while other parts of the house seemed very new, like the flat screen TV's in each room, the fridge and the microwave. We only used the master bedroom but it was comfortable, and the en suite was very nice! Two sinks, a big shower, a bath tub big enough for two...It was all very good for relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, cups and cooking and baking utensils. One down side is that things like paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and laundry detergent are not provided; only what the previous guest left was there. It just means you need to pick up a few extra things, and if you have any leftover toilet paper after you leave, you help the next group out by leaving it in the closet. Bath towels were the one thing we noticed there was an abundance of. The pool was quite warm, and we likely wouldn't have needed the pool heat. The water was clear, but we could tell that it hadn't been vacuumed recently. The screen that closes in the pool was great, we didn't have any bugs bothering us and every now and then we would see a lizard climbing up the screen. The trees that surround the back yard offered quite a bit of privacy. We could tell that our neighbors had pools as well, but could hardly see if they were even outside. We were sad we had to leave and return to normal life! This provided a nice chance to get away from the business of life and it was a great place to unwind after all the craziness of planning our wedding. We are definitely hoping to be able to make a trip out here again, and if we do, we will ask about this place first!
