Hi, I'm Laura!

I love travel, art and music. I am a working artist and art educator. I love my cottage hideout along the Narrow River, and have fitted it out with care from stem to stern. Here you will find every little comfort for your getaway from sunscreen and beach towels to gourmet coffee waiting for you to freshly grind for your breakfast. The sun porch is ready for you to sip that morning coffee and inspect the weather or later, for a romantic candlelit dinner that is also bug free.

You can grill that dinner on the deck at the gas grill, unless you'd rather head to Crazy Burger, Turtle Soup or Treo for a great meal in nearby Narragansett.

In between, pick your days pleasure! Rent kayaks just a short walk over Middlebridge, and paddle to the beach at The Narrows; our friends at Narrow River Kayaks will give you some tips, and they have boats suitable for any level of experience. You can also hop on your bikes and head to the beach at Narragansett with the two beach passes I include.

Laze on the deck under the canopy and read one of the books in my library...some good local authors, lots about Ireland and other beloved places, and some favorites you'll recognize. Be sure to make a pot of tea and try out my gourmet selections. The picnic ware is ready for you to serve lunch on the picnic table under the green umbrella.

If you want to stay connected you will appreciate the wireless internet in the living room.
