Place to be!
July 29, 2015
We definitely had the time of our lives. We got unplugged for the entire weekend, no internet, no tv, no cellular coverage. We stayed in an authentic centuries old log cabin and instantly felt at home with it. The kids & kid at heart enjoyed the truck ride on a rough road going down the river. Deers roam freely and we were warned about possible encounter with bears. The river was clean, the water clear and pristine. The sound of nature and running water was pure bliss and music to the ears. You can hear the squeals of excitement from the kids as they go through river tubing on the small rapids. We had the river all to ourselves. The guys caught some fish and cooked it straight fresh from the water. Us, ladies spent endless time soaking in the river and felt like we were in a natural spa. Definitely recommend this place if you’re the type who wants to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city and want to commune with nature.
Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Pope for sharing your property with us, & for being such a gracious and accommodating host!
