Hi, we're Larry & Sandra!
The Popes live 8 months of the year on the farm in an old Victorian House built about 1904. Larry spent his summers helping his gandparents. It has always been his dream to restore the old log house built for the 1834 marriage of his great great grand father located 8/10s of a mile from the Victorian House on a private timber road. He envisioned it as a family or small church retreat, a writer or artist, or for someone who wanted to enjoy nature. Historic events also took place here. Sandra has written a book on the Cowger history as well as the Popes. They are both actively retired.
