Hi, I'm Sandra!

I grew up in Massachusetts and developed strong unbreakable bonds to Cape Cod which equates to a love of steamers, fried clams, lobster and fond memories of fishing with my dad.

This is my third year with this cottage, I fell in love with Stone's Throw because of its versatility: it is the perfect size for one, for a couple, or a house full. I could envision grandchildren enjoying sleepovers downstairs and walking over to the little beach together.

What I love about the Cape the most is that there is never enough time to do it all. No matter how long you stay or how many times you return, there is always something to look forward to the next year. Although I have owned property on the Cape before, I was not greeted by a water view,as I am now, each time I drive down my street: it is incredibly addictive, and a part of me wishes I could be there each day..

Here is my property:

Stone's Throw overlooks Follins Pond, a large, beautiful salt water pond which connects to the Bass River. It's a very versatile cottage: perfect for one, or two, a large family or two smaller families, or for a few good friends to sit back and relax with all the amenities of...

Perfect for our family of five

“ Excellent ”

This house was so charming and perfect for our family of five with kids ranging from teen to baby. Anyone with kids can't go wrong. Sandy has strollers, sand toys, a porta crib, baby gate, etc.....the sliders lock for safety and bedrooms/basement easily sealed off with a gate. The master bed is super comfy and spacious, as is the downstairs and second bed. Everything was tidy, and the spices/sugar, and other necessities she provided helped. If your an early riser to wash sheets, she has plenty, but it may delay your departure. That's my only regret and totally my fault for not bringing sheets. The deck is stellar with a phenomenal view, and we grilled several times. Latching gate makes it child safe with supervision. Take the time to walk to the adorable beach on follins fond a few houses away. We let the kids play in the sand, toss pebbles into the water etc....at sunset for a low key end of the day. Midcape setting g makes it convenient to everything, and we did it all, clear up to Provincetown. Favorite kids beach was Skaket in Orleans. We let the kids play in the soft surf, catch hermit crabs, build castles, etc....it was stunning. My favourite cape beach and maybe beach of all time. I do hope we can make it back next year. Sandy is kind, responsive, and just a great lady I wish I'd met in person. She patiently answered all my questions before and after reservation. This was the best lodging decision I made in many trips with the kids. Tha is Sandy!!!!
