We live in Toronto, Canada. Although we love it in the summer, when it comes to the winter months it's a different story. We rented in the area five years ago and liked it so much that we decided to buy a place of our own. We try to visit as much as possible but when we cannot we decided to give others the opportunity to enjoy our condo. One of the benefits of our condo is its location. Close enough to everything yet quiet because it is far enough from the main streets and the car and people traffic. In the morning we like to sit on the balcony and watch the colorful hot air balloons take off from a field half a mile away. We also like the fact that the complex is relatively small which means that you can walk to the pool/clubhouse (25 yards). Some of our favorite restaurants are Olive Gardens and Carrabba's. The things we like to do other than the obvious which is to visit Disney/Universal parks, is to try different mini golf locations, go to Fun Spot, Old Town and Winter Park, which have great little boutique shops. Speaking of shops, I have to mention the great deals we always find at the Prime Outlet Mall which is only 10 minutes away. In terms of a day trip, we like to go to beach towns like Clearwater, Daytona and Siesta Key in Sarasota. We also go on an occasional overnight trip to places in south or North Florida. Being in a central location like Orlando area, allows you to travel all over Florida, which is what we like to do.
