Charming Home Away from Home

We loved our stay with Barbara and Larry; only wish we could have stayed longer! Barb's cooking was superb and we found that it was very hard to leave her breakfast table. Also, she and Larry tended to our every need. Central location allowed us to walk to the Sponge Docks (which included the many fine restaurants there), the performing arts theater, and the many shops. Among Barb's many attributes was her knowledge of things to do and places to see.

We were warmly greeted, even I. The rain, and made to feel welcome. Barbara gave us directions to the local areas to visit and provided a map. The vintage pieces in the rooms were part of the ambiance of the inn. There was a lovely little garden area and a cat curled up on the porch. The food was really good too. French toast cooked to perfection with fresh fruit and maple syrup! The next morning was a wonderful quiche served with homemade potatoes and fresh strawberries. Again, during breakfast we were cared for and she made sure special dietary requests were made.. We would stay there again without hesitation..
