A peaceful vacation on the Cape
November 23, 2014
Our family including our son and his girlfriend and our daughter and her baby plus our dog spent a lovely long Veteran's Day vacation at this beautiful home. There was plenty of space and privacy to fit us all. Lovely kitchen to cook in. A great living/dining room with a gas fireplace where everyone hung out listening to music and chatting when we weren't off having adventures based on our particular interests. Watching sunsets at Herring Cove Beach and getting to know other dog lovers at Pilgrim Bark Park in Ptown, croissants from PB Boulangerie and Bistro, a tour of the Truro Vineyards, exploring the many beaches on the Outer Cape. So many things to do and so few people around made for a relaxing visit. The house was perfectly situated along the Cape Rail Trail had we brought bikes. It was a great location with the peace and privacy we needed but also easy access to shops and
all the places we wanted to visit. We kept toasty warm under the down comforters at night. And we lucked out with nice cold but sunny weather for our weekend. But even if the weather had been less than cooperative the house was just so cozy to lounge around resting and relaxing that we would have enjoyed ourselves anyways. Thanks Mike and Connie for a lovely weekend of R&R.
