Boston Travel Resources

Boston is generally regarded as a city of class, sophistication and rich American history.  It was the venue to many key events of the American Revolution, and home to legends like Paul Revere, former President John Adams, and former President John Quincy Adams.  However, in addition to being the ideal location for any history buff, it’s also a great destination to bring the kids.

There are tons of fun things to do in Boston with the family.  The New England Aquarium , located on Central Warf in Boston, made the Travel Channel’s list of Best Aquariums in the United States and is known for their interactive “touch tank,” where kids can get up close and personal with sea life of all kinds.  Fenway Park, home to the Red Sox, is also a great place to spend an afternoon with the kids. Once frequented by boisterous baseball diehards, Fenway has been re-branded as ‘Friendly Fenway,’ and is now safe and fun for even the youngest of baseball fans.

The Boston Museum of Science and the Museum of Fine Arts will fulfill the educational requirements of your family’s trip to The Hub.

Boston is a neighborhood city, with each neighborhood having its own distinct culture. The most visited neighborhoods are the North End, South End, South Boston, Chinatown, Back Bay, Fenway Kenmore and Beacon Hill. Many of the neighborhoods are known for different cuisines, so be sure to pack your appetite!

Boston is excellent city to travel to because it offers something for someone. There’s great history, fantastic food and drink, endless culture and fun and all in one of the most walkable cities in the country. So get your stomach ready for some chowdah’ , practice dropping your ‘r’s and plan your trip to Boston today!
