Panama City Beach Travel Resources

Panama City Beach, a city that has been putting smiles on faces for years.  In fact, while not the official city slogan, many refer to Panama City Beach as ‘The Spring Break Capital of the World.”
In addition to being known as the premier Spring Break destination for high school and college students across the United States, Panama City Beach is regarded as having some of the most beautiful and unique beaches in the world and therefore attracts familes from all over the world.  The 27 miles of beachfront contains sugar white sand with a texture so soft it really is unmatched.

As you would expect from a city that attracts so many young adults, there are plenty of fun activities to keep you busy while there.  Panama City Beach is on the warm watered Gulf of Mexico, and provides the perfect home for surfing, parasailing, kiteboarding, skimboarding, paddle boarding, and, of course, diving and snorkeling.  There is also some tremendous fishing off the coast of Panama City Beach, and the city allows you to purchase three or seven day fishing licenses, so you don’t have to waste money on a full season pass.

If you prefer a less active vacation, Panama City Beach offers a variety of golf courses and some of the most incredible spas in Florida.

Regardless of your motives for visiting Panama City Beach, the seafood can’t be missed; a trip to PCB isn’t complete without some fresh grouper or oysters!
