A great time in Athens, October 17, 2008

I spent a week by myself here, and could have comfortably stayed with my husband and 2 kids. Safe quiet building, good location. I could walk to Syntagma, museums (20"), to Olympeon and Acropolis (30"). Good Metro service too. Plenty of food shopping, nice restaurants and takeout around the corner. Breezy, no need for AC. People at Athens Studio were very nice and helpful, and they arranged for a cab to and from airport. Only complaint-- bathroom a little outdated, and there was not much in the way of supplies(i.e., no salt, dishtowels, extra linens). But the price was right, and you can flush the toilet paper.
