Great Getaway ~ Sun, Sand, Surf in Tropical Mexico (#3054)

I stayed at Casa Contenta this summer, and it was a fabulous place. I was a little worried before I arrived that the studio appartment would be too small for myself and my boyfriend, but the place feels spacious and has a fantastic layout... I love the shower, it's huge! It's less than a minute walk to the beach and, more importantly, to the Accion Tropical surf shop where I rented a board and got boat rides with their bilingual surf guides out to the best breaks every day. Susan was so wonderful, and made sure that everything was perfect for my stay at Casa Contenta. The only difficulty I had was trying to cook dinner outside... but the outdoor kitchen is great for fixing up small meals and snacks, and there are so many restaurant options nearby that I never really wanted to stay home to cook dinner anyways! (If you're looking for a really romantic place for dinner, I highly recommend "Margarita's" on the beach) I would definately stay at Casa Contenta again; it's a great value for the price.
